He lost his closest friend\, and four other soldiers were wounded. He spent three months in-patient at Sheba and is not in out-patient rehabilitation. \n  \n \nGaya Zubare\nA paramedic in the Golani Brigade\, she was injured in Shijaiyah in December\, shot while attempting to rescue wounded tank soldiers. She spent three months being rehabilitated at Sheba\, the only female combat casualty of this war. \n  \n \nShilo Segev\nA member of the Givati Brigade\, he has completed a commander’s course and was halfway through his officer’s course when the war broke out. He was injured in Jabalya in December. \n  \n \nDr. Liran Levy\nDr. Levy is the Director of the Lung Transplant Program at Sheba Medical Center and a world leader in the field of lung transplant. The staff travels the world offering assistance and support—in January 2023 there were four separate missions just to Africa. \nDr. Ruben Cohen was an extraordinary son\, father\, husband\, physician and humanitarian. He traveled the globe giving selflessly in disaster zones to people in need\, no matter where they were. From Asia to Africa to Haiti to Ground Zero in New York\, Ruben was there to help.
