ARC Innovation Center at Sheba and Shamaym Expand AI Partnership for Patient Safety

Sheba Medical Center, ranked #9 in Newsweek’s World’s Best Smart Hospitals (2026), is scaling its ARC Innovation Center‘s partnership with Shamaym to deploy Medinsight.ai hospital-wide. This co-developed generative AI platform automates patient safety and quality-of-care management, achieving 95% accuracy in event classification and identifying 6x more safety incidents than traditional methods. The expansion advances Sheba’s AI strategy to enhance clinical outcomes and reduce clinician workload.
Healthcare systems face complex pressures from unreported adverse events, studies show up to 92% go undocumented through manual processes. Sheba’s AI solution addresses this gap by embedding real-time detection into clinical workflows across surgery, medications, diagnostics, and device use.
Medinsight.ai Transforms Patient Safety Monitoring
Shamaym’s AI-powered Medinsight platform, co-developed with Sheba, scans records instantly to detect anomalies, alert teams, classify events, and deliver leadership dashboards with actionable plans. It manages incidents end-to-end without disrupting workflows, automating routine tasks to ease clinician burden.
Prof. Eyal Zimlichman, Chief Transformation, Innovation and AI Officer at Sheba and ARC
Director, states: “As part of Sheba’s AI revolution, our goal is to develop data- and AI-driven tools that enable safer, higher-quality care while easing clinical team burdens. This Shamaym collaboration represents a real breakthrough in improving care quality and patient safety, reducing staff workload and burnout.”

Proven Pilot Results Drive Hospital-Wide Deployment
The pilot delivered 95% accuracy and 6x incident detection, seamlessly integrating Israel’s top physicians with AI infrastructure. Once confirmed by staff, Medinsight.ai automatically routes, tags, categorizes events, and generates tailored action plans.
Shamaym CEO Ofir Paldi adds: “We’re proud to deepen collaboration with Sheba, one of the world’s most innovative medical centers, developing Medinsight as a platform reshaping patient safety. This agreement reflects trust, shared vision, and mutual value.”
AI-Powered Safety Across Clinical Workflows
Medinsight.ai enhances monitoring in surgical procedures, medication administration, diagnostic processes, and medical device utilization. By automating detection and analysis, it empowers teams to identify risks earlier, focus on patient care, and gain comprehensive safety insights, setting a scalable model for global healthcare AI adoption.
