Imagine leaving everything you know – your family, your language, your home – to serve a country you love. You train, you fight, you give your all. And when the uniform comes off, you’re expected to simply move on.
For many lone soldiers, that’s when the real battle begins. With no one to notice the weight they carry, the silence can be deafening.
Now, there’s a place where that silence is met with compassion.
The Lone Soldiers Program Resilience Center, a partnership between Sheba Medical Center, Nefesh B’Nefesh, and Friends of the IDF, offers free, professional mental health care to lone soldiers and reservists who’ve returned from service.
Whether the wounds are fresh or buried deep, the center offers therapy, guidance, and a reminder: you are not alone.
