“SimBaby” for training hospital staff
Sheba is a world pioneer in medical simulation. Part of the excellence of Sheba’s care comes from the simulator-based training of the staff, but the equipment is all sized for adults.
The ability to train on infant and child simulators is critical. The margin for error in a procedure like a tracheostomy is much smaller.
Sheba’s Safra Children’s Hospital has long wanted this equipment, but it never makes it into the budget. AFSMC is seeking to raise the $82,000 to purchase this baby simulator for Sheba.
And we are looking to Sheba’s best supporters to set up peer to peer fundraising pages, help us raise visibility on social media, and give Sheba Medical Center this new capacity.
