Tim Greene joined American Friends of Sheba Medical Center as Chief Financial Officer in August 2025. He brings nearly three decades of experience as a finance and operations executive across the nonprofit, private, and startup sectors. Tim has a track record of optimizing performance, strengthening infrastructure, and aligning financial strategy with mission-driven growth during periods of organizational transition.
Prior to joining AFSMC, Tim held senior financial leadership roles in mission-driven organizations, government, and early-stage ventures, where he oversaw multi-million-dollar budgets, guided strategic planning initiatives, and implemented systems for fiscal oversight and accountability. He brings a collaborative approach and analytical rigor, with a strong ability to translate financial strategy into mission impact.
Tim earned his MBA in Finance and Accounting from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where he was elected President of the Student Body. He holds a BA in Economics from Northwestern University and lives in New York City.
